“The streamlined mechanics of the game are beautifully simple and It is clear that every rule and component have been meticulously designed and thought out.
This is without a doubt going to be a new entry level game, with its easy to learn / teach.. this could be a new gateway game. “
“It’s not Chess but it doesn’t need to be: for all the card-fishing involved it’s a light, fast game with plenty of excitement that doesn’t outstay its welcome.”
“Evil Corp seems a sensible compromise between the expectations of a mass-market game and the finesse of a hobby title”
I really enjoyed evil corp, The mix of different mechanics paired with a fresh and original theme makes it entirely unique in my opinion, and the attention to design details raises the bar even higher.
Child Geeks: “I had a lot of fun, and this game is so much better than Monopoly!” Parent Geeks: “It’s an easy game to get and entertaining to play. Felt good to be bad!” Gamer Geeks: “Evil Corp is solid - light and straightforward, and just enough take-that to keep it fun. I would play this again."
“Evil Corp does quite a lot of things well. The character's backstories add an interesting dynamic to roleplaying and even plays into that with cards like "make an evil laugh for 5 Billion dollars". It's very aware of its over the top dark humour and mixes it with just enough slapstick to stay jovial.”
“Evil Corp is an excellent board game. If you want something different to play that isn’t a run-of-the-mill off-the-shelf number then pick up Evil Corp. You’ll be trading in billions and conquering the globe in no time.”
“Evil Corp has something for all board gamers. Whether you want something breezy to laugh about with your friends or a strategic experience that has you manoeuvering a master plan. Set against a very cool theme of the impending doom of technology giants meets a dystopian reality, the game is immersive and a fun time.”
“We love Evil Corp since you can get rich by expanding your business and gain the upper hand, but lose it in an instant if an opponent plays strategically. The interaction between players is great and overall this is a fantastic strategic board game with a fresh modern theme.”
“What you have here is a very slick, well put together game. The components are of excellent quality, and there have been some really good design decisions made to give Evil Corp an overall polished finish.”
“Evil Corp is light enough to play with people who don’t game as a hobby, but deep enough that it is strategically satisfying. I found myself comparing it to Munchkin as it can often be the case that if you play for second place it’s a winning strategy.”
“Quick, strategic, and as vicious as you want to play it. A Battle Royale of Capital. And what’s not to like? It’s a medium-to-light game, but it has a good level of strategy, a good level of interaction, and excellent visual design. We love the secret lairs!”
“Evil Corp has a grim and evil theme, but it’s a little tongue in cheek, light-hearted and darkly humorous. I love the multi-use cards and the game is extremely well balanced, lasting just the right amount of time per game session.”
“Evil Corp has some real take-that, and I love take that in games. I really like the artwork throughout and the potential story behind your evil plan.”
